Excavate: Removal of your worn out grass. Depending on the access, we will either use a bobcat or shovel it out by hand. We will end up with 2½ “ to 3½” inches down from the final grade.
Bender Boards: Install bender board (or mow strip if used) as the separator between the turf and the planters and we will stake that in defining our edge.
Base: Place 2-3 inches of base everywhere. Then adjust the drain heights to be underneath the turf. Once we hose and compact the base we will need to end up ½ an inch below the final grade so that the grass height shows itself very realistically.
Weed Barrier: Roll out, cut and staple the weed barrier so that you will never have an issue of weeds growing in your lawn.

Measure, Cut & Roll: Measure the area, cut the turf, carry it over and lay it down. The rolls themselves come in 15’ widths and where we join rolls together we will need to cut one row into the turf in order to properly seam up against adjacent cuts.
Glue Seams: Bind your seams by spreading the glue out, line up the seams and then weight them down whilst they dry.
Trim Excess & Tuck: Cut off the excess turf, nail the perimeter and then tuck the edges down.
Artificial Grass Installation Final Steps – your perfect lawn is almost complete.

Broom: Once the synthetic grass installation is complete, we broom up your new turf so to make all the blades point to the sky.
Infill: The artificial turf installers then add 1 ½ pounds of infill per square foot, which weights down the turf and helps keep the blades pointing upwards. The infill is an antimicrobial acrylic coated sand making it a fantastic playing surface for your property.
Hose Down: Hose down the turf completely seating the infill, and the synthetic turf installation is complete!
